Polly is heading up to the city of her birth to play a couple of short sets without the rest of the band, as part of the delightful Stand-Up Tragedy series running throughout August on the PBH Free Fringe. These excellent variety shows feature storytellers, poets, comedians, musicians and others all performing work based - however loosely - on the theme of 'tragedy'. On Wednesday 20th August, Polly will have a ten-minute solo slot; on Thursday 21st August, she'll be sharing a ten-minute set of duets with Joe Murphy of Sergeant Buzfuz. The shows are an hour long and run from 7.30-8.30pm each night. Entry is free. Stand-Up Tragedy @ The Banshee Labyrinth (ballroom), 29-35 Niddry Street, Edinburgh EH1 1LG
